Clovis Unified School District’s Campus Catering Department prepares and serves over 14,000 lunches and over 3,000 breakfasts each day.  Campus Catering employs over 200 professionals.  We participate in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs and school meals must meet federal regulations based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.

In line with the District’s Mission – “Be the Best You Can be in Mind, Body & Spirit”, the Campus Catering Department is concerned with nourishing students to perform at the best of their ability.  We have taken several steps to provide students with healthful choices.  We do not sell sodas or “regular” chips during the school day on any of the school campuses.  We do not fry foods, we bake entrees and potato products, and steam vegetables. We also offer fresh fruits and vegetables including apples, oranges, green salads and baby carrots.  In line with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, we are also increasing the whole grain products we offer.
