In conjunction with the extensive athletic programs offered at the school sites, Clovis Unified provides a variety of community recreation programs. The CUSD Clovis Community Sports and Recreation Department offers sports and recreation programs for youth and adults. Youth programs are offered in softball, t-ball, baseball, golf and flag football. Year-round competitive and recreational programs are offered in gymnastics, swimming, dance, cheerleading, volleyball and water polo. There are also adult basketball and volleyball leagues offered. Approximately 9,750 members of Clovis and surrounding areas, ranging in age from pre-school to adult participate in the programs offered by the Sports and Recreation Department. The CUSD Clovis Community Sports and Recreation Department also offers camps throughout the year that include sports, band, music, cheer, computers and a variety of other activities.
The Summer Arts & Sports Camp is one of our most popular activities. This camp is a fun-filled five week summer program, consisting of beginning sports training, physical activities and performing and visual arts for elementary age children. The sessions are taught by credentialed teachers and qualified staff five days a week.
