Laptop Camp

A four-day, 10-hour introduction to using a laptop computer, the CUSD Laptop camp is designed for students new to the laptop program who are going into grades 5-11 next August. Participants will use their own computers to get hands on practice using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Apps and the Web. Students will be using the CUSD wireless network during instruction. Students will need wireless capabilities to participate
(internal or wireless card). Laptop teachers will instruct the students in the basic skills needed to
use their new laptop computer in their classes next fall. Classes will be grouped by grade: 5-6
and 7-9.

Laptop Camp will be held the week of August 6th-9th (Monday- Thursday) at Alta Sierra Intermediate School.
The cost is $70. There are two sessions to choose from:

Session 1: 8:30-11:00 a.m.
Session 2: 12:30-3:00 p.m.
