Nursing services provided in Clovis Unified are exceptionally thorough. Each elementary school has a school nurse fifty percent of the time and all intermediate and high schools have full-time school nurses. Health services assistants support 25 district schools. In addition to completing the mandated screenings and evaluations as required by law, school nurses provide student referrals to the CUSD Children's Health Centers for immunization updates, 1st grade physicals and sports physicals.

Appointments are recommended, but not required. Patients without an appointment are seen on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS.
