Summer School
Summer School 2013
District staff members have again creatively worked together to design academic programs to best meet the summer educational needs of students. At their February 27 meeting, members of the CUSD Governing Board approved the 2013 Summer School Academic Programs for elementary, intermediate and high school students.
The Summer Academic Program for students in grades 1-8 will be held at the following sites to serve a projected enrollment of 600 students/site:
-Cole Elementary School - for students in the Buchanan Area
Clovis Elementary School - for students in the Clovis High Area
-Oraze Elementary School - for students in the Clovis East Area
-Lincoln Elementary School - for students in the Clovis North Area
-Nelson Elementary School - for students in the Clovis West Area
-Site TBD - for students in Special Education Extended School Year Program
The Summer Academic Program for students in high school will be held at the following sites, to serve a total projected enrollment of 3,500 students:
-Buchanan High School - for students who attend Buchanan, Clovis North, and Clovis West
-Clovis East High School - for students who attend Clovis East and Clovis High
-Clark Intermediate School - Clovis High E20/20 Satellite
-Kastner Intermediate School - Clovis West E20/20 Satellite
