Co-Curricular & Specialty Programs

Athletics

Clovis Unified Athletics & Co-Curricular activities are following traditional schedules. School sites will communicate any protocols that must be followed according to local health and safety guidelines. Spectators are allowed, and may be limited or capped, based on the facility. Additional details will be provided as available.

As of updated guidance from the CDPH on Sep. 1, masks are required for all persons while playing all indoor sports, unless wearing a mask during play has been determined to pose a choking hazard as per the CDPH and the American Academy of Pediatrics, such as gymnastics, competitive cheer and wrestling when scrimmaging and during competition season. (See full CDPH Guidance #16 here.) These sports will have the option to conduct activities outdoors or will require weekly COVID testing of athletes. Coaches are still required to wear masks. These guidelines are supported by the Fresno County Department of Public Health (FCDPH) and California Interscholastic Federation (CIF).

For Indoor Volleyball:

For Gymnastics, Competitive Cheer and Wrestling:

As of Sep. 7 per CDPH, all spectators are to be masked for indoor sports, regardless of vaccination status.
