Education is a Partnership Between the Schools and the Community

Our Values in Practice
  • We are stewards of our community’s resources.
  • Our schools are open to the community, we don’t lock up our campuses in the evenings and weekends.
  • Decision-making involves systems that include perspectives from parents, students, staff and community.
What does it look like today?
Never lose sight of the fact that our schools exist solely because of the community’s needs.  Clovis Unified exists to serve our community, and the success of our schools becomes the success of our community’s future.  How can a leader build bridges between the community and our school district?

"The schools belong to the people."
