Q. What am I actually seeing when I look at the dashboard numbers?A. Clovis Unified’s COVID Dashboard is updated nightly to reflect the number of new positive cases reported through the District’s attendance system by site/work area.
Q. Could I get a call that my child has been determined to be a “close contact” of a person who has tested positive for COVID prior to that person’s data appearing on the dashboard?A. Yes. Because the dashboard is updated overnight following attendance data being entered, you may receive notice of a close contact before the dashboard is updated. (For more information about "close contacts," please see the
Health & Quarantine Guidelines page.)
Q. Is the dashboard updated in real time?A. Clovis Unified’s dashboard is updated nightly, in a 24-hour cycle, with any new completed positive case reports.
Q. Why are the numbers higher in the updated Dashboard interface (launched Sept. 20) than in the previous Dashboard?
A. The dashboard now includes anyone who has reported a positive test to the school regardless of whether or not the individual was on campus or involved in a school activity within 48 hours of symptom onset. Previously, only cases that had been on campus during that window were were reported.
Q. Where can we see historical dashboard information?
A. The previous version of the COVID-19 Dashboard -- which provided data over a three-month period and did
not include positive cases reported for individuals that were not on campus or involved in a school activity within 48 hours of symptom onset – can be found
here.
