Congratulations to Clovis North High School that was announced recently as a 2021 California Distinguished School! The Broncos join Clark Intermediate that was identified as a California Distinguished School in March when middle schools were named.
The California Department of Education awards schools the honor based on performance and progress on state test scores, suspension rates, and conditions and climate.
“These schools are great examples of California’s commitment to provide outstanding public education for all students, and their data-driven efforts have helped ensure that their students leave with the tools and skills they need to be successful after graduation,” said State Superintendent Tony Thurmond.
In total, 223 middle and high school received the designation.
