Because of the way tax rates and election cycles work, Clovis Unified is at a tipping point. What our schools look like in the future depends on whether or not a bond measure is passed in November.
Without Measure A:
• We won’t have the resources to maintain, repair and update schools;
• New schools won’t be built and older schools will begin to look their age; and
• Health and safety updates planned at all schools may not happen.
These facts compelled a group of citizens to request a $335 million bond measure be placed on the November ballot. In this month’s 2 Minutes Today, Superintendent Eimear O'Farrell shares more about Measure A.
