Opened in early 2018, the center provides a wide range of general healthcare services to employees and retirees covered by the District’s health plan, including their dependents. Operated by miCare, the Clovis Unified Employee Health Center is staffed with board certified physicians and a caring team of healthcare providers who are ready to assist our employees and their dependents with their general health needs.

Our Clovis Unified Employee Health Center by miCare benefits covered employees, retirees, and their dependents in many ways, helping improve timely access to healthcare and reduce health care costs by providing a range of services from sick visits, disease management, preventative screenings, and health risk assessments, along with many others.

The miCare patient portal and Healow mobile app are convenient ways to access your health records and make appointments.  You may use the patient portal to view records and schedule appointments.

To make an appointment by phone, call 327-CUSD (2873) and a miCare staff member will personally assist you.  Self scheduling options are also available in the patient portal and mobile app.

 

Non-miCare provider lab forms:  Many specialty labs have specific draw requirements and supplies.  To ensure we have all that we need to complete your request, please send your lab form via email at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.  Send to: [email protected]. If the lab staff does not receive the lab requisite ahead of time, they may not be able to complete tests at the time of your appointment.

Treatment at the Clovis Unified Employee Health Center by miCare is limited to those covered by the Clovis Unified Health Plan.  Employees who meet the employment terms that qualify him/her to participate in the district’s health plan may access the services of the health center, along with their covered dependents.  Clovis Unified retirees who meet eligibility requirements and are currently covered by the district’s health plan, along with their covered dependents, are also eligible to be treated at the health center.

The Clovis Unified Health Center is operated as part of the CUSD health benefits plan, and cost associated with the center are paid by the district’s self-insurance fund, which includes the premiums paid by eligible employees.  The health center does not operate a billing department and is therefore not able to accept appointments from anyone not covered by the Clovis Unified employee health plan.
