Bell Schedule & Dress Code Review

We’re excited to announce the outcomes of two in-depth studies our schools have completed over the course of the fall semester.  Thank you to everyone who contributed thoughts, ideas and suggestions during our bell schedule and dress code reviews. Your feedback has resulted in action by our Governing Board on January 12, 2022, to approve updates to our existing dress and grooming policy (No. 5132), and to school start and end times (Board Policy No. 6112) for the 2022-23 school year.

This school year, Clovis Unified conducted a Dress Code Review and a Bell Schedule Review. Every school held multiple meetings for parents, staff and students to learn more and offer comments, and an online comment form was available to submit feedback. Feedback collected from meetings and online comments were processed, and recommendations were presented to the Governing Board for discussion in December, and were voted on during the January 12, 2022 meeting.
