ASES Update

ATTENTION!

 

ASES will begin enrollment for 2021-2022 school year in mid-May 2021 at the individual school sites. For more information about enrolling your child into the ASES Program, please contact your child’s school or visit the school website.

 

What parents need to know about next year…

 

What are the operating hours for ASES?

The ASES Program will commences immediately upon the conclusion of the regular school day and operates a minimum of 15 hours per week and at least until 6:00PM on ever regular school day.

 

Will ASES be following health and safety guidelines?

ASES will continue to comply to health and safety guidelines as directed by health officials.

 

How much does it cost to participate in ASES?

Participation in the ASES Program is at no charge to family. According to AB 1567, effective as of July 1, 2017, after school program priority enrollment to students are given to those that are identified by the program as homeless and foster youth. However, these students still must comply with the state guidelines of the program. Also, there are other target groups and criteria that may vary depending on the need of the school site and their learning community.

COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols for our in-person ASES Program

-- Daily Health Screening
-- Temperature Check
-- Enhanced disinfecting and cleaning
-- Increased handwashing and/or hand sanitizing throughout program time
-- Required hand sanitizer use when entering room
-- Individualized student supplies
-- Providing designated area in keeping social/physical distance of 6 feet or more indoors and outdoors
-- Limit non-essential visitors and/or volunteers
