Members of the public may address the Board. Three (3) minutes are given to each speaker who submits a request either in-person or virtually using the form available online. Members of the public requesting to address the Board on an item on the agenda or not on the agenda will be called on during the “Public Presentation” portion of the meeting. Please note that, pursuant to the Brown Act, if an item addressed by the public during this time is not on the agenda, the Governing Board may not discuss or act upon such items during their meeting.

Pursuant to Executive Order N-29-20 issued by Governor Gavin Newsom on March 17, 2020, any or all Board Members and members of the public may attend board meetings by telephone. For those members of the public who request to provide public comments via telephone, a District staff member will call you during the Public Presentation. For those public members who wish to attend the meeting and/or make public comments in person, the board meeting room indicated above is open. However, the Board may limit the number of persons in the board meeting room at any time pursuant to guidance from public health officials.
