Youth Parent Program

The Clovis Unified School District Youth Parent Program is a continuous, school-based, community link program for pregnant and parenting teens and their children. We have a childcare center available to all Youth Parent Program teen parents, located on the Gateway High School campus. The center offers a quality program that recognizes and values each child’s uniqueness and potential. The staff consists of highly trained individuals who possess knowledge of the specific needs of infants and toddlers.

The goal of the Youth Parent Program is to assist all expectant and parenting students to earn their high school diploma. Many resources are provided to the teens including: case management services, prenatal and parenting education, career education, counseling services and academic support.
