Clovis Unified School District Aquatics employs a large summer aquatic staff along with a staff during the school year. This staff consists of Coaching positions, Substitute Coaching Positions, Swim Lesson Instructors, Lifeguards, Lifeguard Instructors, Swim Lesson Site Supervisors, and various administrative positions. All staff members must be 16 years old or older to be hired and must complete an Edjoin Application to join the staff. Position Placement occurs after hiring. We make an attempt to be flexible during summer hours around training, school, and other jobs you may have. We are always looking for those who want to make children in our area water safe and those that want to help keep the aquatics community strong for years to come.

Basic Water Rescue:

Course 1: 4 Sessions
February 26: Clovis North (5:00pm – 9:00pm)
February 27: Clovis North (4:00pm – 8:00pm)
February 28: Clovis North (9:00am – 8:00pm)
March 1: Clovis North (5:00pm – 9:00pm)
Course 2: 4 Sessions
March 19: Clovis South (1:00pm – 8:00pm)
March 20: Clovis East (10:00am – 3:00pm)
March 21: Clovis East (1:00pm – 6:00pm)
March 22: Clovis East (10:00am – 4:00pm)
Make-up Sessions: All Make-up sessions will be at Clovis South High School
March 23: 9:00am – Noon (In-Water Skills and scenarios)
March 23: 1:00pm – 4:00pm (CPR)
March 23: 4:00pm – 6:00pm (Written Exam)
There is no make-up for Video and Powerpoint presentation (Be sure that you can attend those days of the course)
