Registration
When school site personnel become aware that a student is facing housing challenges through the new student enrollment/registration process, attendance intervention meeting, school psychologist, transition team contact, residency investigation, community partners, or self-disclosure; the school site refers the student and their family to Student Services and School Attendance to meet with the Intervention Consultant. Students, parents, and school sites should call (559) 327-9217 to make an appointment.
Services
Eligible students may qualify for:
- Help with enrollment in school and enrollment documents;
- Maintaining enrollment in the same school despite residency changes;
- Home/School transportation;
- School supplies, school clothing, field trip costs, co-curricular costs, summer programs;
- Free school meals;
- Medical and mental health referrals;
- Transcript evaluation, partial credit recovery, and a waiver for some high school graduation requirements.
- Title One Services such as extra academic support
