CUSD Aquatics hires coaches, swim lesson instructors, and lifeguards throughout the year. We are always looking for people to join our staff who wants to make children water safe and to strenghten and continue our aquatic sports tradition. Applicants must do the following to be hired:

Students: Complete application with 3 references, 2 letters of recommendation, and a resume. Students will also need to get a work permit from their schools and contact kacyota@cusd.com to get the work permit completed and turned back into the school. After High School Gradauation, the student would need to complete adult hiring requirements before working. An online Orientation is also required prior to working.

Adults: Complete application with 3 references, 2 letters of recommendation, transcripts or proof of graduation, and a resume. After references are checked you will need to have TB Test cleared, Fingerprinting done, and online orientation completed.

Certification can be completed before or after being hired. We offer certification for all requirements and links to all online courses needed. Please check out the schedule of training courses on our Training Page.
