Seasonal Employee Information
Employees working on a stipend or timesheet basis are considered non-contracted seasonal employees. Seasonal positions include co-curricular walk on coaches, certificated classroom intervention teachers, casual labor workers and student workers.

Academic co-curricular stipends are paid on an annual schedule of November, February, and May. Academic club stipends are paid in May.
Athletic co-curricular stipends are paid by season of sport. Fall sports stipends are paid in November. Winter sports stipends are paid in February. Spring sport stipends are paid in May.

The pay period for employees who are paid by timesheets runs from the 6th to the 5th of the following month.
Example: Time worked 11/6 through 12/5 is paid on the 12/31 pay date.

Minors employed in the state of California must have a Permit to Employ and Work (work permit). Work permits indicate the duties and location where the work will be done as well as the number of hours a minor may work. The Student along with the parent/guardian and employer must fill out the Statement of Intent to Employ a Minor and Request for a Work Permit-Certificate of Age (B1-1 Form) to receive a Permit to Employ and Work (work permit).
