for Teaching Credential Students
Before graduating, credential students are required by the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools to receive training in Adult, Child, and Infant First Aid CPR/AED, which is not an offered certification through Clovis Unified School District.
You must seek training through an external organization. Review the information below for training requirements and suggestions.

All certification training must meet the following requirements:
- The course covers all three core skills of First Aid, CPR, and AED for the age groups of Infant, Child, and Adult
- In-person, hands-on skills testing for all three core skills is conducted by the organization’s certified instructor prior to issuing a certification card
- The couse meets OSHA training requirements in addition to all the requirements listed above
The Fresno County Office of the Superintendent of Schools does not accept certifications that were issued from online-only training agencies.
